Sutton Foster, an actor who sings, dances, and performs, has appeared in eleven Broadway shows and the most recent revived production Violet. She also portrayed roles on Broadway as a singer, dancer and actor in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. Her Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie as well as Young Frankenstein. Star Search was her first television appearance when she was just the age of 15. Then she appeared in Bunheads as well as Psych and also Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster is a soloist who has appeared in shows across the US as well as overseas together with Michael Rafter. They have performed songs from her debut CD "Wish" and the follow-up CD An Evening with Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in 2011 in the form of Ball State University, where she is also advisor and faculty member for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Her new TVLand show, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March of 2015.
