Butler started filming The Stranger Within (a psychological thriller) in Spain, Mallorca together with Estella Ward as well as William Baldwin back in November 2011. The film was scheduled to film at Copenhagen Denmark and New York City.She became part of the independent feature Treachery featuring Michael Biehn which began filming in Los Angeles in June 2012.
