Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was made at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. Silk is the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to the play school and watching her mom work. Silk was a small model in a commercial. She was in 1997 when she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move out of Toronto to Los Angeles during the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she began to meet him in 2007 in an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles. They were engaged in 2009 and married with a civil ceremony December of that year. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman changed her religion to Judaism. Silk gave birth to the son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May 2016. Silk is known for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she's ready to go back to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples.
